Under the impregnation method, the lubricating oil can be selected from the following two kinds:

Cationic hydroxyl silicone oil emulsion (water emulsion) and silicon wax water emulsion. There are three kinds of lube oil additives that can be selected under the contact method: silicone oil (line oil), 201 methyl silicone oil and (anhydrous) silicone wax emulsion. The performance of the products listed above ranges from low to high. Of course, the same products are different from different manufacturers. For example, the water emulsion of silicon wax under the impregnation method can be completely adsorbed on the sewing line, and at last only the water is retained, without pollution and easy to clean. There are also 201 methyl silicone oil under the contact method. The domestic products are slightly less than those imported products. Why is silicone wax lubricant the best sewing thread lubricant? In principle, silicone wax can stay on the surface of sewing thread for a longer time. We know that the structure of the sewing thread is fluffy. In this case, the oil is easily penetrated into the inside of the thread after the sewing thread is oiled. If the oil goes into the inner part of the line, where will the sewing thread have good lubrication? Therefore, before the emergence of silicon wax, the line manufacturers can ensure the lubrication performance of the line by improving the oil loading rate. But it's also a problem. First of all, there is no doubt that the cost is progressed. In addition, the amount of oil on the line is larger and the cleaning workload of the line is greater. In addition, there are also problems in using, such as embroidery pattern embroidering a pattern, and the use of lines is very intensive. You have a lot of oil on the line. When ironing, oil will seep out and pollute other places. It was discovered in the 80s of last century that the products of silicon wax were superior to pure silicone oil. Because it is a compound of silicon oil and wax. As we know above, silicone oil is easy to penetrate into the inner part of the wire, but wax as a solid can stay on the surface. We also know that wax is also a good lubricant product. At the same time, there are many kinds of wax. According to different needs, the oil of silicone wax can be blended into the components of antistatic agent, softening agent and so on. In this way, not only can we provide good lubricity, but also the other properties of sewing thread can be greatly improved. Since wax is so good, can we use wax directly? Now there are such products, such as wax ring, and then line oil. The actual on-line oil is a small amount of silicone oil plus a large amount of white oil (white oil is a wax). We say that's not good. If your request is not high, you can use it one way or else. Sewing threads are always used on sewing machines. Now the sewing thread is getting faster and faster. It is generally around 5000 needles / minutes in the country, and it can reach 9000 needles or minutes faster than 7000-8000 needles or minutes abroad. At this speed, we can infer how high the temperature of sewing needles is! The biggest drawback of wax is that it is not resistant to high temperature. At high temperature, the wax carbonized and coking. If the sewing line is all wax, it is slowly coked in the pinhole at the high speed through the needle holes of the sewing machine. The final result is to plug the pinholes and break off the line. Silicon is high temperature resistant and has a clean effect. When the wax is carbonized in the pinhole, silicon can be taken away in time to keep the pinholes open. Therefore, the silicon wax complex can meet the needs of high-speed sewing.

In summary, silicone wax based lubricants have the following advantages:

(1) providing good lubricity so that the sewing locomotive can reach above 7000 pins / minute.

(2) good antistatic property, providing excellent sewing thread consistency, that is, the line is not easy to disperse. Because the thread is not a single one, it is twisted together. If the static electricity is large, the lines will be separated.

(3) the difference between dynamic and static friction is small. As a result, the stitch of the sewing machine is small when it is running up and down.  The stitch is smooth and improves sewing quality.

(4) reduce the oil production rate and reduce the production cost; at present, many domestic manufacturers can produce the silicone wax water emulsion under the impregnation. The only difference is that the quality is high, like the above, is not able to absorb clean, is not able to circulate under the two-way pump, is not the need to heat and so on. In the contact method, the anhydrous silicon wax emulsion, the Dow Corning of the United States, and Germany's Rudolf, Baum and Graff can produce. American products are cheaper, but their performance is no better than silicone oil. Germany's product performance is good, that is, the price is too expensive. And some of these products need to be heated before they can be used. Some people in China can also produce anhydrous silicon wax under contact method and do not need heating.
